Overview
VITO VoiceDialer is voice recognition and dialing software for your Pocket PC. Choosing the contacts to dial manually from the address book is slow, boring and even dangerous if you drive. With VoiceDialer, you can just pronounce a name without pressing anything!

VoiceDialer uses voice commands that you record by yourself, thus it understands any language, even your dog's barking! Your dog can finally call you, isn't that great?

Quick Searching
It takes just a few taps to find a contact and assign a voice command to it.

Use the default keyboard to filter contacts by name with a certain string of letters or by phone numbers. Type any letters or numbers and VoiceDialer will display only the contacts that contain these letters in their names or numbers in their phone numbers.

Easy Learning
There are just 2 easy steps to teach your PocketPC voice commands:

1 Select a contact from the list
2 Tap Record to record your voice tag

In case a contact has several phone numbers, you can record commands for each of them. They are displayed as separate contacts.

You can also record voice tags directly from the standard Contacts: select a contact and choose Assign voice command from the menu.

Pronunciation matters?
Assign a hardware button to launch VITO VoiceDialer and pronounce the recorded command.

Pronunciation is always an important thing in voice recognition. The main advantage of VITO VoiceDialer is possibility of pronouncing the commands in your native language, in the manner you're used to speak!

It's All About Recognition...
VoiceDialer utilizes a sound processing engine, originally developed by VITO Technology.

The percent of correctly recognized voice commands has been increased to 98% in regular conditions and up to 65% in noisy surroundings.

It means that you can make calls even in poor conditions, while driving, in noisy supermarket, even at stock exchange!

  • Voice commands can be assigned to all phone numbers from your Contacts
  • Based on Voice Recognition Engine originally developed by VITO Technology
  • Provides precise and accurate voice recognition even in poor conditions
  • Voice tags can be backed up and restored

Simply works  One Star One Star One Star One Star One Star
A reviewer from Sydney Australia, May 16, 2007

I installed this software on my HP HW6965 PDA/Phone/GPS navigator to overcome the general impossibillity of dialing out safely and sanely while driving in touch screan devices. Having trialed more ambitious but disapointing accent specific phonic recognition type packages this seemed the most practicable. It also works over an Ericsson HBH-100 Bluetooth visor car kit and an Ericsson Bluetooth headset with the headset producing consistent results when car noise is present at highr speed. I used the standard microsoft WM5 'buttons' tool in the settings section to map the camera button to intiate voice dialing while driving and using the HW6965 as a GPS in its cradle. The camera is easily and best opperated through the touch screan anyway. At least on my device I am unable to use the headset button to intiate the voice recognition software: its a minor limitation not really VITO's fault but the devices and future versions of WM should overcome this. I've found it helps to keep the sounds of names both consistant and distinct as your list grows larger by including surnames or letters of surnames after pronouncing the first name. Being satisfied I somewhat regret not trialing VITO's voice2go which promises not only voice dialing but the abillity to launch applications such as media player, GPS (Tom Tom) software using not only a command button but optionaly a 'magic word'. The simplicity of VoicDialer is heartening. It installed and deinstalled cleanly on my device several times though I had a little trouble deinstalling from my wifes i-mate JAMin which is also WM5. (Belatedly I realisd that this device has excellent voice dialing software preinstalled anyway!)

Difficult to install  One Star One Star One Star One Star No Star
Ron from Delray Beach, FL, February 10, 2006

The system does work well, but it took me forever to activate it. Read the instructions very carefully.

Very good piece of software  One Star One Star One Star One Star No Star
eddy gonzalez from UK, March 4, 2005

This is a well written well presented piece of software. It works well and runs fast on my XDA. Unfortunately it will not dial using my bluetooth headset. A visit on the developers forum will inform you that the developers are looking into this but for the moment until they can get bluetooth dialing to work I wll only give it a 4 star
